My 10 days of twitter silence coming to an end. That can mean only one thing: vacation's over and I'm back to work tomorrow =(
Off to the airport
After three months of weekly travel to MEL, I finally figured out where the Business lounge is (hint: it's hidden inside the other lounge)
Bizarre - I read @sweetp7594 comment about Gmail themes, but don't see any in settings. I Google search themes, and suddenly they're on

Updated status: Grad school apps are a full-time job
I've been spelling remuneration wrong for my entire life. It took a non-native English speaker to point that out. Oh, the shame!
Couldn't resist signing up on the "expression of interest" page of jobs at Change.gov - wonder what jobs are free in the Obama white house?
Off to dinner in Glebe with coworkers - pretty easy week at work is quite a contrast to two weeks ago
Feeling new pride in my country, and renewed excitement about the potential for change
So I guess come January this means I can move back to the US. I wonder how much flights to DC for inauguration day would be from SYD...
Works done - now to party with Dems Abroad!
I think Mark Udall winning in CO would largely be due to my work as an intern in his office 7 years ago. It's the only logical conclusion
